U.S. Brass Invitational
Contest Information

Saturday, September 13, 2025 | Carroll Fine Arts Complex | 1501 W Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX 76092

Early Registration ($500) ends August 1, 2025​ — Register here​​

Late Registration accepted until August 14th with an additional $100 fee ($600)

​

Ensembles must furnish 3 original physical scores of each piece performed upon check-in the day of the contest. Measures must be numbered and each score should be free of ensemble-identifying markings.

​

Total membership of each band must not exceed 36 participants including percussionists and conductor. A band member may not compete with more than one band unless they are a genuine member of multiple bands. No special scheduling considerations will be made to accommodate performers in multiple bands.

Contest Accomodations

The U.S. Brass Invitational intends to provide the following accommodations for performing ensembles the day of the contest:

  • Communal Case Storage Zone

  • Warm-Up Room w/ chairs and stands

  • Equipment in Warm-Up

    • Snare, bass drum, marimba, xylophone, vibraphone (no motor), timpani, cymbals

  • Equipment on Stage 

    • Snare, bass drum, marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, glockenspiel, crash cymbals, suspended cymbals, tam-tam, set of timpani, chimes, set of toms, congas, bongos​

Adjudication and Awards

Judging for the U.S. Brass Invitational will utilize 3 adjudicators and a NABBA-based rubric. All adjudication will be blind.
